Course Overview

Pre-Requisite: Successful completion of Dermal Fillers Level 3.

Join our one-day course for booty sculpting tailored for seasoned injectors with a minimum of 1 year of continuous injection experience, including 6 months of performing advanced injectable procedures.

​

The comprehensive course features a combination of didactic and hands-on training, ensuring a thorough understanding and practical application of PDO Threads techniques. Upon successful completion, attendees will be awarded a Certificate of Training.

​

The use of PDO Threads shows visible results of rejuvenation and pathological stimulation of as much as 100% new collagen. Patients confirm increased skin rejuvenation, skin lifting, brightened skin tone, increase in volume, and an improvement in skin wrinkles.

​

Learn the following thread systems:

• NEEDLE (Soft Threads): Mini, Mono, Screw, Tornado

• BARB (Surgical Threads): Blunt Cannula - 360 and Molding Cog

Mono threads – smooth to stimulate collagen production. Optimal results seen in 8-12 weeks.

Screw threads – made up of 1 or 2 intertwined threads and are good for restoring volume to sunken parts of the skin and stimulating collagen production. Some immediate results, with optimal results seen in 8-12 weeks.

Tornado threads  – made up of 3+ intertwined threads and are good for restoring volume to sunken parts of the skin and stimulating collagen production. Some immediate results, with optimal results seen in 8-12 weeks.

Barb threads – have tiny, laser cut bi-directional barbs that latch on to the skin to lift tissue and provide support while repositioning the skin. Collagen immediately forms wrapping around the barbs. Ideal for lifting and tightening. Immediate results with an additional 3 months of improvement. Can last up to 2 years.

​All products and PDO Threads training models are provided by Ageless Aesthetics Academy at no additional cost to the participants (unless the participant chooses to be a model).

Didactic Session​

During this course, you will learn the latest injection techniques and processes to achieve optimal results for your clients in the following areas:

• Cheeks, Jowls, Neck (Lifting & Tightening)

• Jawline Contouring (V-Shape of Face)

• Neck and Double Chin (Skin Laxity)

• Eye Brows (full eye & lateral)

• Décolleté

• Facial Rejuvenation (i.e., perioral region, lips, forehead, scarring indications)

• Other areas: Lip Border/Lines, Oral Commissures, Nasolabial Folds, Neck, Double Chin, Tear Troughs, Crows Feet

The PDO Thread Lift I & II Aesthetic Training Course begins with an intensive and thorough lecture session where you will:

​

• Discuss the purpose and goals of PDO Threads

• Understand the treatment areas for PDO Threads for areas indicated above

• Learn the patient assessment and selection process and how to perform patient consultations specific to using PDO Threads

• Understand the insertion techniques

• Understand the Grid, Lift & Volume Techniques

• Understand areas of Lifting and Tightening

• Discuss PDO Threads indications and contraindications

Hands-on Training

While we have models for class, all class participants will have at least 1-2 models for treatment. This is a group training environment. Students will perform the client consultation, develop a treatment plan and perform the injections all under the supervision of the instructor.

Course materials and PDO Thread Lift I & II Aesthetic Training Certification:

Participants in the PDO Thread Lift I & II certification classes will receive course manuals, sample consent and treatment forms, a resource list, a Certificate of Training.

• Understand the use and goals of all types of PDO Threads (mono, screw, barb)

• Evaluate correct patient selection criteria specific to the different types of PDO Threads

• Examine the indications and contraindications for PDO Threads

• Learn the sterilization, prep, and reconstitution techniques for PDO Threads

• Understand insertion techniques specific to PDO Threads

• Learn the pre-care, post-care, risks, and side-effects of PDO Threads

• Evaluate correct patient selection criteria, the elements of successful aesthetic patient consultation, and when and how to tell your clients No.

• Discuss anesthesia techniques

• Understand common complications that may occur with PDO Threads and how to manage these complications with proper safety protocols

• Demonstrate correct injection methods and techniques for PDO Threads
